Washing Instructions

Proper washing is the most important step in preserving your bedsheets. Incorrect washing is the leading cause of fabric pilling, color fading, and shrinkage.

Machine wash in cold or lukewarm water (max 30°C) on a gentle cycle
Use a mild, color-safe liquid detergent — avoid powder detergents that may leave residue
Wash dark and light colors separately to prevent dye transfer
Do not use bleach, fabric softeners with silicone, or harsh stain removers
Wash new bedsheets before first use to remove any finishing agents and achieve maximum softness
Do not overload the washing machine — sheets need space to rinse thoroughly

Drying Instructions

How you dry your bedsheets directly affects their texture and lifespan.

Tumble dry on low heat or air dry flat for best results
Remove from the dryer promptly to minimize wrinkles
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade colors over time
Do not wring or twist the fabric — gently shake out the sheet before drying

Ironing & Finishing

Iron on low to medium heat while slightly damp for the smoothest finish
Always iron on the reverse side of printed or embroidered areas to protect the design

Storage Tips

Storing your bedsheets correctly keeps them fresh and ready to use between washes.

Ensure sheets are completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mildew
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space away from humidity
Avoid storing in plastic bags for long periods — use breathable cotton storage bags or pillowcases instead
Fold neatly to prevent permanent crease lines from forming

Fabric-Specific Care Notes

Cotton Satin: Our cotton satin sheets become softer with every wash. The natural sheen is preserved when washed at low temperatures and air dried. Avoid high heat, which can flatten the satin weave over time.

Printed Designs: To keep printed patterns bright and sharp, always turn printed sheets inside out before washing and avoid washing with abrasive items like towels or denim.
